Important – 16th & 18th Birthday Parties
We’re sorry to say that we’re unable to accept bookings for 16th or 18th birthday parties. This policy is in place to help us keep the hall a safe, enjoyable, and well-cared-for space for everyone in our community, and to ensure we respect our neighbours’ peace and comfort. If a booking is found to be for a 16th or 18th birthday celebration, the Memorial Hall Trustees reserve the right to cancel the booking at any time, including on the day of the event. We really appreciate your understanding and cooperation — it helps us ensure the hall remains a welcoming venue for all. If you’re planning another type of celebration or community event, we’d be happy to hear from you!
General Policies
Packington Memorial Hall reserves the right to refuse applications for hiring, or to cancel an existing bookings should the Memorial Hall Trustees deem it necessary.
A deposit is required in addition to the hire fee. The deposit will be returned after confirming the satisfactory condition of the premises and its contents following the completion of the event in question, and compliance with the conditions set out in this document. In the event of any breach, the Trustees reserve the right to retain all or any part of the deposit
